Greybull has two pharmacies including Pamida Pharmacy and Big Horn drug store, many clothing and miscellaneous retail stores, and three grocery stores including a Milk’n More grocery store, office supply store, and a few auto parts stores as well.

The cuisine in Greybull reflects the western heritage of the city. Lisa’s Western Cuisine & Spirits located in Greybull on the way to Yellowstone and is a local favorite, with a traditional Wyoming “meat and Potatoes” menu featuring Southwestern entrées. The Smokehouse Saloon offers fine dining and is famous for its “Smoker” burger. Greybull boasts having an A&W Drive Inn offering the option to order from your car or at an outdoor picnic table. And, Beijing Garden claims the best Chinese food in Wyoming while Duchies offers European Style dinners and Sunday Brunch.

Parks and Recreation
The Greybull Museum offers free admission and showcases authentic Indian clothing and artifacts, as well as other historical pieces including guns, tools and clothing used by the early Greybull pioneers. The Museum also houses an impressive collection of rocks, agates, and polished petrified wood along with actual dinosaur fossils found in the area. Devil’s Kitchen is a soft and colorful sandstone formation which has created a spectacular landscape to view and explore. Bighorn National Forest is 1.1 million acres and has 32 campgrounds, 14 picnic areas, two visitor centers, 1,500 miles of off road vehicle trails, and two recreational lake areas in addition to several mountain resorts and lodges. The Pryor Mountain Wild Horse Range is another local point of interest which borders the western side of Big Horn Canyon. Here you will find the nation’s first wild horse preserve, dedicated in 1968. There are between 120-140 wild mustangs which roam more than 40,000 rugged acres of high desert, rolling hills and cliffs.

Education
Greybull is in the Big Horn County School District No. 3 which consists of an elementary, middle and high school serving grades K-12. Currently there are approximately 500 students enrolled in the school district. Northwest Community College located in Powell is the closest institution for higher education near Greybull, but there are many accredited public and private universities in Wyoming including the University of Wyoming in Laramie.

Health
North Big Horn Hospital located in Lovell has a 24hour emergency room, cardiac rehab, and offers physical and occupational therapy as well as in and out patient surgery. North Big Horn Hospital also has a Pharmacy and laboratory and radiology services in addition to CT scans. South Big Horn County Hospital serves Greybull residents as well, but is mainly used as a short term acute care hospital.
